Hui Ring read law at the University of Bristol and was thereafter called to the Malaysian Bar in 1999. She has been actively practicing law in Malaysia since 1999. Her areas of practice are as follow:

Arbitration. A significant portion of Hui Ring’s past and present work involves the construction industry in general and disputes between employers, main contractors, sub-contractors, consultants and suppliers. She has represented clients in the conduct of various arbitration involving prominent and known buildings and structures in Malaysia. As an arbitration lawyer, Hui Ring has also appeared before arbitrators who are not only retired judges but also architects, engineers, quantity surveyors and lawyers. Hui Ring is also well versed in various rules of arbitration including KLRCA, UNCITRAL, PAM, IEM.

Adjudication. Hui Ring is also a qualified adjudicator and is able to hear adjudication pursuant to the Construction Industry Payment And Adjudication Act (CIPAA) 2012.

Civil Litigation. Hui Ring has represented a spectrum of clientele in various commercial and civil litigation proceedings involving numerous areas of law including but not limited to contractual disputes, tenancy disputes, tortious actions, liquidation and bankruptcy actions.
