Hoon Huar began his career as a litigation lawyer. Representing clients at the bitter stage of business deals gone sour convinced him that the best cure is prevention. He turned to corporate and conveyancing practice, using his litigation skills to provide sound solutions and prevent lawsuits.

A fluent Putonghua (Mandarin) and Cantonese speaker, Hoon Huar excels at serving non-English speaking clients. In particular, the Firm represents many Mainland Chinese and Hong Kong nationals; as Hoon Huar is one of very few English educated lawyer (University of Nottingham, class of 1995) who negotiates and drafts effectively in the Chinese language.

Hoon Huar believes strongly in community service. He is the legal adviser of St. John’s Ambulance Malaysia, Selangor and various Chinese Clans.
